The air smells like rain and youāve started to forget about me.
On an infinite grid of squares lives Langtonās ant, an artificial cell. A two-dimensional unrelenting force of nature; a veteran of the digital world. Sheās got to cross the highway before the rain begins.
This new dance-theatre work by Hazel Pigrum calls forth your curiosity about the integration of the organic, the mechanical and the divine.
Developed with support from La Mama Theatre, INTERNET OF THINGS initiates an infinite march towards human-tech symbiosis.

But perhaps the enthusiastic sensibility of young women of her age played a role. This feeling sought release at every opportunity.
Inspired by Franz Kafkaās seminal novella, Short Straw Theatre is developing a new interdisciplinary work surveying gender and exploitation.
A first-stage creative development explored shadow work, projection, text and movement improvisation. Further developments seek to combine these physical theatre elements with orchestral composition.
